Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Talat Century Partnership: Pakistan won by 5 wickets against West Indies in the first match of the three -match ODI series.

In the first match of the 3 -match ODI series, Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan decided to bowl by living the toss. West Indies got the first blow for 4 runs. Opener Brandon King was dismissed by Shaheen Afridi. The team’s second opener Evin Lewis continued to fraud the Pakistani bowlers even after the wicket fell. On the other hand the wickets kept falling but they completed the fifty. Saim Ayub took his wicket for 60 runs. After this, the bowlers were brought up with captain Shai Hope. He also played an innings of 55 runs. Finally, Roston Chase came and played an important role in bringing the score to 280 runs.
Babur and Rizwan return
Chasing a target of 281 runs against the West Indies team, Pakistan had the first blow to just 5 runs. Babar Azam came and took over the team and also saved the wicket. Abdullah Shafiq was dismissed after scoring 29 runs while he formed the pair with captain Mohammad Rizwan. Gudkesh Moti walked Babar Azam for 47 runs. Rizwan played an innings of 53 runs while playing the captaincy innings.
Nawaz’s explosion on debut
Pakistan lost its 5th wicket as captain Rizwan on the score of 180 runs. After this, Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Talat not only took out the team but also brought it to victory. For the sixth wicket, both of them took a century partnership and snatched away the West Indies jaw. While playing his first ODI match, Nawaz scored 63 runs on 54 balls, while Talat put 41 runs in the innings of 37 balls in Pakistan’s bag. Nawaz became the 14th Pakistani cricketer in the first ODI of his career.
