New Delhi. During the fifth Test match being played between India and England, umpire Kumar Dharmasena did something that he is being accused of dishonesty. He did something during this match, which England got direct benefit. Fans are writing on social media that Kumar forgot the religion of umpiring. However, Anil Chaudhary, the veteran umpire of India, defended Dharmasena and said that he would not have done this intentionally.
The incident occurred during the batting of Sai Sudarshan when England’s Pacer Josh was bowling. Controversy arose in the match when the replay clearly showed an internal edge, but England decided not to review the LBW’s decision. Dharmasena was seen pointing to a slight pointing, which many people understood the indication of the age, which is not allowed under the ICC rules.
