Health Tips: Avoid mushrooms, capsicum, jackfruit, broccoli, brinjal and green leafy vegetables in the rain, they can increase the risk of infection and skin disease. Ayurvedacharya Bhuvanesh Pandey of West Champaran has advised people not to eat these vegetables.

West Champaran: The rainy season brings many health problems with it. Especially when it comes to eating and drinking, many such vegetables are found in this season, whose consumption increases the risk of infection manifold. Due to which dozens of diseases including skin disease and stomach problems in the body get home.

Bhuvanesh Pandey, a resident of Bettiah, working as Ayurvedacharya for the last 40 years, says that according to Ayurveda, some special vegetables should be avoided in the rain. These include mushrooms, capsicum, jackfruit, broccoli, brinjal and green leafy vegetables. Actually, rainy insects in leafy vegetables and bacteria that do not appear with eyes make their home. In such a situation, their consumption can cause health related problems.

Ayurvedacharya said, although mushrooms grow in moist environment, but in the rainy, the possibility of inclusion of harmful bacteria and toxic substances increases in them. In such a situation, due to their consumption, many times a case of stomach problems and danger of infection has come up. Also, problems like skin disease, vomiting and diarrhea have also been seen.

Chemicals like alkaloids are found in brinjal, so eating brinjal should be avoided in the rain. Due to insects in brinjal in the rainy season, the possibility of allergies also increases significantly, which can cause many problems related to digestion including skin disease.

Vegetables like cauliflower and broccoli should not be consumed during the rainy season. Actually, in this season, small white colored insects start appearing in these vegetables, which are very difficult to remove. In such a situation, consuming them can give you problems like stomach pain, gas and diarrhea.
