World No. 1 Yanik Sinner defeated the great Novak Djokovic on Friday to advance to the Wimbledon final. He will now clash in the final against his rival Carlos Alkraj.

New Delhi. World No. 1 Yanik Sinner defeated the great Novak Djokovic on Friday to advance to the Wimbledon final. He will now clash in the final against his rival Carlos Alkraj. Sinner defeated Serbian player 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 in all three sets. World No. 6 was dropped and did not give him a chance to win the 25th Grand Slam of his career.
Djokovic was initially seen in rhythm but Sinner returned brilliantly. Djokovic could not stop them for long. Novak could not achieve the rhythm again and despite being followed by 3-5, he was seen struggling. Sinner defeated Serbian player 6-4 to win the first set and achieved an initial lead.
Novak Djokovic did not get any relief even in the second set. Djokovic increased pressure and Sinner also won the second set from 6-3. In the third, Sinner defeated Novak 6-4 and set his rematch against Alkraj. Now he will clash with Alkraj in the final of July 13. It can be held in the evening according to Indian time.
Wimbledon Star Sports Network for Indian fans will air on TV. This event will also be lived live-stream on Hotstar in India. Carlos Alkraj won the second consecutive Wimbledon final title by defeating seven-time Wimbledon Champion Novak Djokovic 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (4). It has to be seen who wins this year.
