New Delhi. The Indian team came out to play without Jasprit Bumrah in the second match of the 5 -match Test series against England. Coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shubman Gill had to face criticism from all sides after his name was not named in the playing XI. Mohammad Siraj did wonderful in the first innings of the Birmingham Test, which not only shut everyone’s mouth but also made a big record. Taking 6 wickets against England, this bowler did such a feat which no Indian had been able to do till date.

Mohammad Siraj took 6 wickets for 70 runs in 19.3 overs in the first innings of the Birmingham Test against England. In the last session of the third day, he broke down on the English batsmen. England’s sixth wicket fell for 387 runs and the entire team was all out after scoring 407 runs. India took a big lead of 180 runs thanks to Siraj’s 6 wickets.

A total of eight Indian bowlers Ishant Sharma, Amar Singh, Bhagwat Chandrashekhar, Chetan Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Dilip Doshi, Bishan Singh Bedi and Siraj have dismissed six or more English batsmen in an innings of the Test match played in England. Seven Indian bowlers Shardul Thakur, Harbhajan Singh, Anil Kumble, Jaspreet Bumrah, Jawagal Srinath, Ravindra Jadeja, and Siraj have taken six wickets in South Africa. Siraj is the first Indian to do so in both countries.
