Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the ‘Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Department of Official Language’ at Bharat Mandapam on Thursday.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in the program of the Department of Official Language in New Delhi on Thursday- there is no opposition to any language. There should be no opposition from any foreign language. But the request should be to speak our language, respect it and think in our language.
Shah further said- I believe in mind that Hindi cannot be opposed to any Indian language. Hindi is a friend of all Indian languages. Hindi and all Indian languages together can reach our destination of our self -determination to its destination.
Earlier on June 19, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said- Those who speak English in this country will soon be ashamed. The construction of such a society is not far away. No foreign language can be enough to understand your country, your culture, your history and your religion.
4 main things of Amit Shah’s address …
- Our languages will unite India: Language has been used as a means of dividing India in the last few decades. They could not break it, but efforts were made. We will ensure that our languages become a powerful medium to unite India. The Department of Official Language will work for this.
- Will develop Indian languages: I believe that the foundation being laid under the leadership of PM Modi will create a great India in 2047 and we will develop our Indian languages on the path of building great India. Will make them rich, increasing their utility.
- Indian languages should be used more in government work: Indian languages should be used more and more in government functioning. Only in the central government but also in the state government. For this, we will also contact the states, try to convince them and persuade them.
- Medical-engineering studies in local languages: All state governments should start medical and engineering studies in local languages in their respective states. The central government will help all the state governments so that administrative functioning and higher education can be done in Indian languages.
Shah said- we will be at the top in the world by 2047
On June 19, Shah had said- PM Modi has laid the foundation of Panch Pran for Amrit period. Five vows have become a resolution of 130 crore people. This is the reason that we will be at the top by 2047 and our languages will play a major role in this journey.
These five vows include achieving the goal of developed India, getting rid of every mark of slavery, proud of their heritage, committed to unity and solidarity, and to awaken a sense of duty in every citizen.
