There is a different wave of change in Karnataka. Tired of complaining about bad roads, people themselves have started making roads here. For this, they are donating and shramdaan among themselves. As a result, the bad roads that had been complaining to the government for years, they are being repaired in a day.

For example, near Shrungi in Chikmagalur district, the people of Bharatiyanur and Banashankari collected Rs 15.75 lakh and built a 286 meter long road on their own. A man donated 4 truck brick and stones in Matsyashala village in Hassan district. After this, the villagers donated and made a road by making shramdaan. Pandian D of the village says- We are ashamed of our leaders.

The condition of the road in the village was such that two-wheelers and small trains were not able to run. People prepared the entire road with their own money and labor with mutual participation.

2. Shivamogga … Just stuck then built a road The school bus got stuck on the Terry road leading to Holekere village in Shivamogga district. Children were evacuated with great difficulty. The villagers together collected about 50 thousand rupees and made a 2 km long road in 10 days.

3. Dharwad … School children built roads School children repaired the broken road in Arsankol village of Dharwad district. There were pits in the road, the broken parts were filled with soil and stones themselves. So that there is no problem in reaching school. The villagers then built a paved road at the same place.

4. Kodagu … auto people filled all the pits In Gonikoppa in Kodagu district of Karnataka, auto people filled pits of broken roads. The road from Aramnagar to the bus stop was bad for about 2 kilometers. Seeing the problems of the bus catches daily, the auto people got many times repaired.

5. Gadag … Road became from Shramdaan every Sunday Many roads like Sirsiddh Road in Mughaligunda village in Gadag district of Karnataka are being built themselves. The villagers started shramdaan every Sunday. Gradually, people joined and now more than 2 kilometers of road has been built.
