New Delhi. Former Australian captain Michael Clarke believes that India is in “safe hands” and is “enough talent” to defeat England. The five -match series between India and England is scheduled to begin in Headingley on 20 June. Shubman Gill has replaced Rohit as a Test captain, while Rishabh Pant will be the vice-captain.

Despite the absence of the main players, India has introduced new talents. Sai Sudarshan, Abhimanyu Ishwar, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Arshdeep Singh, and Yashasvi Jaiswal will play for the first time in England. Famous Krishna, Mohammad Siraj, Akash Deep, and Arshdeep Singh will strengthen the fast bowling attack with Bumrah. Left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav is the main spin option, which Clarke considers “ex-factor”.
