New Delhi. Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, who crashed soon after flying in Ahmedabad on Thursday, has been found. This strong Divis, which recorded significant data on the aircraft, was found on the roof of the hostel of doctors, which hit the aircraft. With the help of 40 personnel of the Government of Gujarat, a large team of the Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation (AAIB) found a digital flight data recorder (DFDR) or black box.
Black box, also called flight data recorders, records all activities during the aircraft flight. It contains pilot interaction, aircraft speed, height and other important information. After the accident, with the help of a black box, experts can find out how and why the accident happened. Getting a black box will help investigators to find out the cause of the accident. With this, measures can be taken to prevent such accidents in future. Therefore, Black Box is an important tool in the investigation of aircraft accidents.
This device is made from strong materials like steel and titanium. It consists of two main parts: DFDR and Cockpit Voice Records (CVR). The DFDR records the technical flight parameter, while the CVR records audio from the cockpit, which includes pilot interaction and radio exchange with air traffic control.
