FIH Junior World Cup: Indian Junior Women’s Hockey Team defeated Belgium 2–1 and registered a second consecutive win on Europe tour.
India crushed Belgium.
New Delhi. The Indian Junior Women’s Hockey Team defeated Belgium 2–1 to register a second consecutive win on Europe tour. Lalathantaluangi (35th minute) and Geeta Yadav (50th minute) scored goals for India. The first half was goalless. The first goal for India was scored by Lalathantaluni on a penalty stroke.
The Indian team won the match 3–2 at the Hockey Center of Excellence, Wilries. With two consecutive wins, the Indian junior women’s team is ready to play the third and last time in their European tour on 12 June.
In Argentina, the Indian team performed strongly against difficult rivals. He won 2–1 win against Chile and 2–2 (2–3 So) defeat, won 1–1 (2–0 SO) against hosts Argentina and defeat 2–4, and won twice on Uruguay.
