During a press conference in Mumbai, Sanjay Raut spoke on the alliance of Shiv Sena-Manse.
On the discussion of Shiv Sena UBT and MNS alliance, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said that Shiv Sena (UBT) is ready to move one step forward or back and has no political ego.
Sanjay said that the Shiv Sena will do all the Shiv Sena for the benefit of Marathi Manus (Marathi speaking people) and to ensure its claim on Mumbai again.
In fact, the statements of isolated cousins Uddhav and Raj have given air to speculation of reconciliation. Due to which it is beginning to say that they can join hands after two decades, ignoring minor issues.
Raj Thackeray separated from Shiv Sena in 2006 and made MNS. Maharashtra is expected to have body elections by September this year. The discussion of the alliance between the two parties is intensified due to poor performance between Shiv Sena (UBT) and MNS in the 2024 assembly elections.

MNS Chief Raj Thackeray had said that it is not difficult to unite in the interest of Marathi Manush. Uddhav had also said that he is ready to keep small battles on the shore, provided that those who work against the interests of Maharashtra are not included.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray also said on Monday that his party is ready to form an alliance with any organization that wants to work clean and mind for Mumbai, Maharashtra and Marathi speaking people.

MNS spokesperson and Mumbai unit president Sandeep Deshpande said that the Shiv Sena (UBT) should first send a formal proposal to Raj Thackeray or at least call and discuss the possibility of the alliance.
MNS Thane city president Avinash Jadhav said, ‘Alliances are not in front of cameras. The Shiv Sena (UBT) should send a formal proposal to the MNS to consider the alliance. If Uddhav Thackeray takes one step forward, Raj will take 100 steps forward.

Raj Thackeray is active in politics since 1989: In 1989, Raj Thackeray was the President of the Shiv Sena Student Wing, Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad at the age of 21. Raj was so active that within 6 years from 1989 to 1995, he made countless tours of every corner of Maharashtra. By 1993, he associated millions of youth with himself and Shiv Sena. As a result, Shiv Sena’s strong ground network stood in the entire state.
Uddhav dominated Shiv Sena in 2005 : By 2002, Raj Thackeray and Uddhav were handling the Shiv Sena. The party session was held in Mahabaleshwar in 2003. Balasaheb Thackeray told Raj- ‘Make Uddhav the executive president of the party. Raj asked, ‘What will happen to me and my people.’ By 2005, Uddhav started dominating the party. Their impact was visible in every decision of the party. Raj Thackeray did not like this.
Raj Thackeray left the party, announced MNS : On 27 November 2005, a crowd of thousands of supporters gathered outside Raj Thackeray’s house. Here Raj told the supporters, ‘My quarrel is not with my Vitthal (Lord Vithoba), but with the priests around it. There are some people who do not understand the ABC of politics. So I am resigning from the post of Shiv Sena leader. Balasaheb Thackeray was my God, and will live. ‘
On 9 March 2006, Raj Thackeray announced his party ‘Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’ i.e. MNS. Raj described MNS as ‘Marathi Manus’s party’ and said- This party will rule Maharashtra.
