A under -trial prisoner was strangled to death in South Delhi’s Saket Court lock on Thursday due to mutual rivalry. Two other under trial prisoners have been arrested and investigation has been started. DCP Ankit Chauhan said that the incident took place on 5 June in the lockup of Saket Court. The deceased prisoner Aman (24) was a resident of Govindpuri. He was brought into lockup to appear in court in a murder case. Aman and his partner Vijay killed a man named Gandhi in his shop in 2017. Many under -trial prisoners were present in the lockup at the time of the incident. Meanwhile, Jitendra alias Jitte and Jaydev alias Bacha attacked Aman. He strangled him to death with his feet.
