Recently, Bollywood veteran and lyricist Javed Akhtar broke his silence over the flop of Bollywood films continuously and said that the makers of Hindi films are not connected to their roots. Talking with Lalantop, Javed Akhtar said that he feels that creative crisis is going on in Bollywood. People have no new idea. Javed Akhtar says that he has a complaint with Hindi films, while those actors of South who do not even know in North are also making headlines.
Talking about films in detail, Javed Akhtar also says that he complains with Hindi films that there is no depth in Bollywood films nowadays. Nowadays all films focus on action. Even when it comes to making 3D characters in action films, the makers lose their touch.
Javed Akhtar further says that he is surprised by how till date films do business. He says that he left many films which were later super hit, but people like this nowadays.
The legendary scriptureter further says that South’s films are also getting a tremendous hit nowadays, whose actors do not even know in North. He says, you see Bollywood films are made by migrants from North. But South films whether Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam, they make everyone from the same place.
Javed Akhtar further says that the makers of South are still connected to their roots. The films there make the makers there for their own audience. But the scene in Bollywood is something else.
