This contract of Bristol Chowk in Gurugram has been the most expensive auction in Haryana.
A contract of liquor was auctioned for Rs 98 crore 60 lakh on the Golf Course Road, which is called Gurugram’s most posh area in Haryana. According to the excise department, this is the most expensive dialect in Haryana’s 59 -year history.

The G-town wines company put such an expensive bid for this contract. This contract, built at Bristol Chowk in Golf Course Road, was also with this company last year. Last year, its bid was missed for Rs 49 crore. This time it doubled directly.
The second expensive dialect in Gurugram, famous for luxurious liquor contracts, was missed by the DLF-3 contract. 63 crore rupees were imposed for this. This amount was more than Rs 3 crore more than the reserve price of the contract. Apart from this, the contract of Shankar Chowk of Gurugram was auctioned for 62 crore and the contract for horizontal plaza was auctioned for 46.2 crore rupees.

2 reasons came to light …
Government increased the reserve price: Their reverse price is the major reason for breaking the record of auction of liquor contracts in Gurugram. It is being told that Gurugram earns four to five times more than the revenue given to the government. Therefore, the government has almost doubled their reserve price. This time the reverse price of the contract of Bristol Chowk of Golf Course Road was Rs 94.6 crore.
Extended contract duration: The second reason for the contract being expensive is also that this time the contract is to be given for 22 months. Whereas, earlier it was given for 12 months. The contract with Bristol Chowk has also been given the benefit from the government that a maximum of 2 liquor contracts will be allowed to open in its zone.
The treasure of the government is filling the new excise policy Deputy Accation and Tax Commissioner Amit Bhatia said that the new Excise Policy 2025-27 has received positive response from traders. Under this, 50 contracts of Gurugram East received revenue of Rs 1270.40 crore. DLF Phase-3 contract sold for 64 crores. Right now the auction process of liquor contracts is going on in Gurugram West. It will have a final bid on 5 June.
Last phase bid tomorrow 50 out of 79 zones of Gurugram (East) have been auctioned. The reserve price prescribed for these zones was Rs 1198.90 crore. In comparison, the government received a revenue of 5.96 percent more i.e. 1270.40 crores.
Applications for the remaining 29 zones of East will be sought from 9 am to 4 pm on June 5, 2025. They will be evaluated at 5 pm on the same day. The reserve price of the remaining zone has been kept at Rs 1021 crore.
