Delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda reached Delhi on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi may meet the delegation groups who went to reveal the attitude of India against Operation Sindoor and Pakistan -backed terrorism. According to media reports, PM Modi will meet all 7 delegation groups on 9 or 10 June. During this time delegation will submit a report to the Prime Minister of his visit.
Delegation led by BJP’s Baijayant Panda has returned to India on Tuesday. The group includes BJP MPs Nishikant Dubey, Fangan Konyak and Rekha Sharma, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Satnam Singh Sandhu, Ghulam Nabi Azad and former Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringla. He traveled to 4 countries Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Algeria.
The remaining six delegation will return from foreign tour till 8 June. The central government has sent 59 MPs of the country to 33 countries to tell the world the purpose of Operation Sindoor. 59 MPs were divided into 7 all -party teams (delegation). There are 8 former diplomats with 7 teams.
59 MPs gave 5 messages to the world
- Zero tolerance on terrorism: It will tell that Operation was against vermilion against terrorist groups and their structures. The terrorists were targeted in the napi-tully action. The Pak Army considered it an attack against itself and retaliated.
- Support of Pak Terror: The MPs are carrying some evidence in which he will tell that the Pak -backed terrorist organization The Resistance Front (TRF) was played in the Pahalgam attack. Earlier, the MP is also taking the entire letter of the attacks.
- India responsible and restrained: India also showed responsibility and restraint in military action. It was ensured that no innocent citizen of Pakistan would be killed. When Pakistan urged to stop the action, India accepted it promptly.
- The world should unite against terror: MPs will also seek cooperation and support from these countries to raise their voice against terrorism and deal with it. Will appeal to see the Indo-Pak dispute as a war against terrorism.
- Our policy regarding Pakistan: It will tell that India has revealed its changed view against Pakistan. India will adopt a pro-active attitude instead of being indifferent to the threat from across the border and will already implement the terrorist attackers.
The previous governments also sent delegation abroad to present their case-
1994: Leader of Opposition Vajpayee presented India’s favor in UNHRC This is not the first time that the central government will take the help of opposition parties to present its case on any issue. Earlier in 1994, the then Prime Minister Narasimha Rao sent Indian delegation under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Atal Bihari Vajpayee to the United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) in Geneva to present India’s favor on the issue of Kashmir.
Former Chief Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah and Salman Khurshid were also involved in that delegation. Pakistan was then preparing to present a proposal in front of the UNHRC in relation to alleged human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir.
However, the Indian delegation responded to Pakistan’s allegations and as a result Pakistan had to withdraw its proposal. At that time, India’s Ambassador to UN Hamid Ansari also played an important role in making Prime Minister Rao’s strategy successful.
2008: Manmohan government sent delegation abroad after Mumbai attacks After the Mumbai attacks in 2008, the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also decided to send the delegation of various political parties abroad along with documents related to Pakistani links in terrorist attacks.
India had decided not to launch a military attack on Pakistan. However, the diplomatic attack of the Manmohan government led to a lot of international pressure on Pakistan to take action against Lashkar-e-Taiba and other terrorist groups. The United Nations Security Council and Financial Action Task Force (FATF) also put Pakistan in the gray list for the first time.
What is operation vermilion? On 22 April, there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. 26 tourists were killed by the terrorists. On 7 May, India had a airplane at Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) and 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan. The army killed 100 terrorists. The ceasefire was agreed between the two countries from 5 pm on 10 May.
