Rajpal Yadav said, ‘To say very honestly, there is nothing like nepotism. Had it been, where would Shah Rukh Khan, I, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Johnny Lever, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra come from? According to him, the success of all these names is proof that the real strength in Bollywood is of talent, not family influence.
‘Nobody in my family said acting’
Rajpal also told that no one in his own family asked him to come into acting nor showed the path of theater. ‘This was my own decision. I have also told my children that whether sports or cinema – no one can make anyone’s life. If a true and good person sitting inside you tell you that you can do this, then do it. I can just give you a push, but if you fall, I will not be able to save you either. ‘
He also admitted that whose parents are in this industry, they can definitely get a chance in the beginning. But he insisted that the success decides the success or audience. ‘If there is a player, then his child can get a chance to play. In the same way, someone who has been in film or TV for 30 years will also learn his child. But whether he will get success or not, he will decide his ability – not his relationship.

Rajpal revealed that he has been in this industry for 38 years and has more than 200 relatives. ‘But I could not get any one work till date. Everyone is different from the path of success-hard work is our own and blessings are also found separately.
