Nicholas Puran of West Indies retired from international cricket at the age of 29. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli of India also announced his retirement from Test cricket.

West Indies explosive batsman Nicholas Puran has shocked everyone with the decision to retire from international cricket at the age of 29. The former T20 captain was recently seen playing for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League. He shared an emotional message on Instagram about his decision. In his international career, Puran played 61 T20 and 106 ODI matches in which more than 4000 runs have been scored in both formats.

India captain Rohit Sharma announced to retire from Test cricket on 7 May. Now he will only play in ODIs. The 38 -year -old batsman had already retired from T20 after winning the T20 World Cup in June. Rohit Sharma has played 67 Test matches in which he has scored 4301 runs. He has 12 centuries and 18 half -centuries in his name.

India’s star batsman Virat Kohli announced his shocking retirement from the Test format a few days after Rohit’s retirement. His decision came just before the England tour, which will start from June 20. Kohli retired from T20 after winning the T20 World Cup in June 2024 and now he will play only in ODI format. In the Test, Kohli has scored 9230 runs in 123 matches, including 30 centuries and 31 half -centuries.
