FIH Hockey Men Junior World Cup draw has been announced. India and Pakistan have been kept in the same group. The World Cup will be held from 28 November to 10 December in Chennai and Madurai.

New Delhi. India and Pakistan’s junior hockey teams are going to face face to face later this year. Host India is placed on Saturday with arch -rivals Pakistan, Chile and Switzerland in Pool B of FIH Hockey Men Junior World Cup. It will be organized in Chennai and Madurai from 28 November to 10 December this year. The draw ceremony for the tournament was held here at the FIH headquarters. For the first time, 24 teams will participate in this phase.
Hockey India general secretary Bholanath said, “Today is an important moment for the world of hockey because we are drawing pools for the first FIH Junior Men’s Hockey World Cup to participate 24 countries.” Germany is the current junior men’s world champion who won the record seventh title by defeating France 2–1 in the 2023 phase final.
