Redmi a5 launched: Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone in the Indian market. At a price of less than Rs 7000, Redmi A5 has been introduced with vigorous features, which includes magnificent design, large battery and smooth display. Xiaomi’s new Redmi A5 has been introduced with several color options. This includes pondicherry blue, just black, and Lake Green. Blue and black variants have matte finish, but only the rear camera in black and green variants has a golden color rim around the module.
The price of this model is Rs 6,499 for 3GB + 64GB variants, while the 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 7,499. The sale of Redmi A5 will start from 16 April 2025, which is tomorrow. You can buy this device from the official retail stores and offline stores of the brand.

Chinese technology company’s new affordable smartphone Redmi A5 comes with a long 6.88-inch IPS LCD panel, which has HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, DC dimensing and Tüv Rheinland Certification for Eye protection. It has UNISOC T7250 SoC processor, which is combined with RAM and 128GB storage up to 4GB. It also has a microSD card slot to increase storage up to 2TB.
There is a 32MP dual camera setup at the back, while there is an 8MP selfie camera in front. This model gives a large battery power of 5,200mAh, which supports 15W wired fast charging. Redmi A5 runs on Android 15 OS. Other major features include 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, side mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM support (nano + nano), and GPS support.
