Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched Redmi Pad 2 in India. It has an 11-inch 2.5K display, 9,000mAh battery and Android 15-based Hyperos 2.0. Price starts from Rs 13,999.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched its latest budget tablet Tablet Redmi Pad 2 in India today. This two version is available in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular. It has a 11-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 9,000mAh battery. The company claims that this is the first tablet in the country which supports Google’s Circle to search feature. In addition, it comes out of the box with Android 15-based Hyperos 2.0.

Price and availability of Redmi Pad 2: Redmi Pad 2, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage is available for a base model with Wi-Fi-only variants for Rs 13,999. At the same time, the Wi-Fi + 4G option supporting cellular connectivity is Rs 15,999 and Rs 17,999 for 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage models respectively.

It will be available in blue and gray colors from June 24 through the official e-store, amazon and select offline retail stores. As part of the launch offer, customers using HDFC Bank Credit Card can get a discount of up to Rs 1,000. The price of Redmi Pad 2 cover and Smart Pain (Stylus) is Rs 1,299 and Rs 3,999 respectively.

Specifications and features of Redmi Pad 2: Redmi Pad 2 has an 11 -inch 2.5K display, with 90 Hz Adaptive Refresh Rates and Peak Brightness of 600 notes. Screen provides brightness level up to 600 nits, triple Triple Theenland certification and weight touch technology support for eye protection. Apart from this, the Tablet has MediaTek Helio-Ultra SOC, which comes with LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB and UFS 2.2 onboard storage up to 256GB.

Talking about the camera, Redmi Pad 2 has an 8MP rear and 5MP front camera sensor. It has a quad speaker system with Dolby Atmos support. Xiaomi has given a 9,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging support in the tablet. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm audio jack and USB Type-C port. Its weight is 510 grams.
